i was just about to email about this.

she is using our original team picture and including everyone who isn't on the team anymore.  i emailed her to let her know that is out-of-date both in terms of picture and line-up and that we'd get them something new by our next show.

obviously, taking a new team picture... is a pain in the ass.  we took those lovely outdoor ones and two weeks later they didn't matter.  so my suggestion is doing some sort of logo type thing.  this way we have something new and fresh to use.  we can update our fb.  and the pit (if this girl continues to do this) actually has something to use to post on fb/tumblr/etc.

thoughts? does anyone know anyone who can create cool shit?

i was bored.  i made this.  i think it's fun.  i don't know if it's our style.  do we have a style? an aesthetic feel as a team? i don't know.  but this is the banner i made.  i may make more.  because it's more fun than job work.  no idea what to do for the profile picture.

if anyone has any suggestions/idea let me know and i can mess around in photoshop. i like vintagey stuff.  i was trying to find good old black and white party pictures from the 40s/50s to put a logo over that.  but i don't know.  that's just me.  i enjoy doing it trying to get better at stuff.

quick question... more of a complaint.....

can someone explain to me why national scandal is getting a full hour spot a sketchfest on saturday night and we are having to share a slot with a magnet house team?

also why, pop roulette, gentleman party, bridge and tunnel and garlic jackson (who, why are not house teams, are groups with monthly shows at the pit) are all getting full hour slots.

i'm getting real tired of the way that the pit seems to just really not care about our team.  and i really think we should say something because this is getting absolutely ridiculous.

Chelsea relax...this is just how all the background drama club nerd geek socially inept pretty much ugly across the board dick sucker ass-hand unfunny doughnut munchers who comprise 95% of the pit community want you to feel. We don't need to care about any of that. Just do good shows and treat ourselves like we are independent and can do whatever we want.

Well in the past, house teams have always split hour slots with other theater's house teams, so the Natty Scandruff thing is a little weird, but the rest is not really (and Nats probably requested an hour so they could fit in two sketches instead of one...BURRRRRRRNED).

I think it would be good to either email or meet with Kev and Chris just to discuss general communication though. Did we ever get an official email about our SketchFest slot? Feels like things have just gone a little awry with all the changes and it would be good to clear some of it up.

I agree with Ronan. Technically, we aren't a house team. If you look on the website, damn family is as much one of the pit's sketch teams as we are, and so is murderfist, etc, etc. Let's use the pit, not the other way around.
