This is now running at the following site, running against 3rd party websites
http://orchid.vm.bytemark.co.uk:5000/
It seems there's still work to be done on this, but some parts are functional. You can create a collection and it will cause the backend to do a retrieval.

I'll start raising any issues I find from this onto the github issue tracker. I should really be working off that now anyway, as I'm pretty much finished with the refactoring work.
