It is our mission at Thermo Fisher Scientific to help our customers make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. As part of that mission we are continuously evaluating our own practices to ensure we are positively impacting our global community. We recently assessed our process for providing customers with hard copy manuals. What we found was a broad range of preferences from our customers, some had to have a hard copy, some keep the manual handy on a computer or tablet, and others rarely read the user manual. This results in significant waste in the process.

As part of our standard process we will incorporate reminders and links to the manuals via our website in our standard customer and order communications. We also recommend setting www.thermofisher.com as a bookmark in your browser and using the search function to locate your product page, manual and other resources.

Along with true operational reliability and walk-away convenience, this system is self-contained with no need for external water or drainage connections, which makes it quick and easy to install. Application protocols of the Indiko Plus include routine clinical chemistry tests as well as special tests, such as specific proteins, drug of abuse testing, therapeutic drug monitoring and immunosuppressant drug testing.

This analyzer has three different sample racks - two 9-position racks that can be adjusted for different aspiration heights and an 18-position for non-bar-coded 7 ml tubes, for user convenience. Its unique, low-volume cuvette design guarantees small reagent volumes, minimal amount of reagent waste. With disposable cuvettes, this analyzer helps lower the risk of contamination and shortens the time of analysis. It also comes with a simple and clear menu, allowing the user to handle the patients' samples with ease as well as controlling the reagent levels in real time during work.

Any mix of sample cups and bar-coded primary tubes can be loaded at the same time. Automated clot detection, versatile automated dilution features, and reflex testing capability offers save operator time. This system employs colorimetric end-point and kinetic as well as turbidimetric and bichromatic reactions with or without sample blanking. Optional ISE unit uses ion selective electrodes for sodium, potassium and chloride measurements where ISE and photometric tests can be run simultaneously from a single sample.
