One Acts and First Meeting

Hi everyone!!

Hope everyone has had a fabulous break!

Don't forget; one act scripts are due to me by midnight on January
27th!! Email me on my personal account dz...@iup.edu please; I cannot
receive them on this email account so please do not just click reply
back. They are between 10-50 minutes long, must be tasteful to an
extent (everyone at Post Mortem knows what I mean :p), and have a
realistic idea for set.

When you send me the scripts, make sure to include them as documents
that can be opened on all computers (rich text is usually a good one).
Also send me a short syponsis, list of characters with genders AND if
any characters' genders can be changed, and an idea set-wise. If you
have a director in mind, also let me know please. The director MUST be
a member of TOST and Turned; the writer does not.

Our first general meeting of this semester will be Jan 31st at 7pm in
the Hub Atrium. We will NOT be doing an electronic voting on the
scripts for this semester; it will be a vote during this meeting. If
you want to submit me an electronic one because you can NOT make this
meeting, you may do so by 5pm on Jan 31st on my personal email
account. The scripts will be emailed out the morning of Jan 28th to
everyone, to give them time to read these over. Our auditions will be
Feb 14th (as long as we get the Pratt, which I will know the first
week back) to give us ample time to advertise all of the show choices
and auditions for new members. Possible directors must also attend
this general meeting, so we can choose to vote or not on directors if
there is more than one that wishes to direct a show.

I would like to meet with all officers before this meeting, at 6pm. I
would like to discuss bylaws and the coming shows with everyone. All
officers must attend so that we can vote on important officery
things. :))
