Helllllo all!

Sorry for the late sending of these materials. Dumb laptop decided to
die, then my car followed. WOOO TECHNOLOGY!

So I am finally sending you the FIVE one acts we receieved. Below are
the descriptions sent to me by the writers (who will be remain hidden,
as you should vote by the writing and NOT the writer). If you are
attending the meeting at 7pm on Tues, Jan 31st in the Hub Atrium, you
will vote THERE. I am only sending these out in order to read prior to
the meeting. However, if you have a valid excuse for missing the
meeting (I do not need to hear it, this is just the honor system), you
can send me an electronic vote by 5pm on Tuesday, Jan 31st. EMAIL ME
ALL ELECTRONIC VOTES ON MY PERSONAL ACCOUNT: dz...@iup.edu. You can not
reply to these emails, so you must do it to my personal account. :)

I am sending first this email, and then ANOTHER from my personal
account that has the ACTUAL scripts linked to it. Now, I do not have
everyone on my mailing list on my personal account, SO if you do not
receive the five scripts in an email from me by 9pm tonight, email me
ASAP on my personal account (dz...@iup.edu), to receive the scripts for
reading. Okay, phew, that was obnoxious. :D

Any other questions or concerns, email me! :) The meeting on Tuesday
will cover a LOT of information so please try to make it. Also,
officers, do not forget to be there by 6pm to have an officer
meeting.

Play 1: "The Vomit Play"
Cast: 3 females, 2 males, 2 written as females but can be males
Set: Cardboard boxes, one painted with names.
Possible director: Sybil Watson
Synopsis: Gina is just your typical college student. Due to a small
misunderstanding, though, her boyfriend thinks she's pregnant and her
roommate thinks she's an alcoholic. To further confuse matters, a real
pregnant girl and alcoholic are both hidden among her group of
friends. Also there's a betta fish named Genevieve in there somewhere.

Play 2: "Zero Weeks' Notice"
Cast: 5 male or female casts (explained at bottom of script)
Set: Market front counters
Possible director: None listed
Synopsis: Super market fun (yes, I made up my own here :p)

Play 3: "The Summer of my Fucking Discontent" (we will discuss this
title at the meeting)
Cast: 2 male, 3 female, various others
Set: Pizzeria
Possible director: None listed
Synopsis: The happenings at a local pizza shop

Play 4: "Lost and Churned"
Cast: 3M(ish), 2 M/F.
Set: Bed/loveseat/couch, and TV
Synopsis: Student theatre organization Lost N Churned is rehearsing
for its upcoming 3-act comedy. Will things go awry? Will the fourth
wall be flirted with?? Will shameless self-referential jokes be
made??? Undoubtedly.

Play 5: "Beside Himself"
Cast: 3 male, 1 female, 2 male/female
Set: Solitary jail cell
Possible director: None listed
Synopsis: A man battles with multiple attributes of his inner self.

Sorry; I'm bad at writing for a synopsis for plays I didn't write :( I
left the writer on the last one, because...well...we know. :)

NOW, after you read these, go read the actual plays I send from my
account! They will be sent in this order!
