First, I would like everyone to know that Indiana is much more fun
when you are all here. Those of you that were here through any part
of the summer probably know what I mean. Seeing you guys around
brings campus to life, which is why I am pleased to say that I will be
seeing you all very soon! If I don't have the luck to run into you, I
will definitely see you at -
The First TOST Meeting
on Friday 9/3
- I can't reserve a room until the semester officially starts, so time
and location are still unknown. Trust me, I'll be sure to let you
know.
I know that you've dedicated your summers to finding a play that we
can perform this semester, but just in case you wanted to give it one
last effort, now would be a good time to do that. Play submissions
will be due on Friday 9/10.
Once we have play, we can hold auditions! Those will be on Tuesday
9/21.
I have one more request. Please don't make plans for Friday 12/3 or
Saturday 12/4. You already have plans. Those are our show dates!

I'm not POSITIVE this email will work but here's hoping it does!
We will be having our first meeting of the semester on Friday, Sept
9th at 6pm in the Hub Atrium. All TOST members and any interested ones
should attend this meeting. We will be discussing everything from
Bylaws to the show this semester!
On that note, we already have a director interested
in..well..directing. Joe Nelis has decided to step up to the plate but
of course, we can';t just HAND it to him if anyone else is interested.
SO if anyone else wants the position, please email me or tell me at
the meeting and we'll vote there.
Plays for this semesterrrrr are due by Sept 14th at midnight and we
will vote via email on these. Everyone get excited, woooo. Remember
this is a mainstage play for us so pick a good one :)

This email is very confusing so sorry some of this is repetitive.
ANYWAYS, I will be CANCELING the meeting tonight at 6 in the Hub
Atrium because of lack of officer attendance. All officers should be
at meetings and should inform me with prior notice if they can not
attend. It's no big deal, but this is the first meeting and officers
should have informed me by text or email (Jess Brown, I know you did)
asap if they can not make it. Also, multiple members could not make it
SO.
This is what I was planning to say-it was gonna be a short meeting. We
have the Pratt reserved for Sept 22 at 7pm for AUDITIONS!!! woooooo.
We will be chalking before and putting up fliers asap once our show is
picked. ON THAT NOTE. No one has sent me a play idea for the fall yet.
The ideas are now due by TUES SEPT 13 (my birthday) at midnight. Yes,
I will not be sober when I read these, so send them earlier than
midnight. K thanks. :p. Anyways. We will then vote on them at our next
meeting.
Our next meeting will be WED SEPTEMBER 14TH at 8PM in the HUB ATRIUM.
We will vote on the show (directed by Joe Nelis or if anyone else
wants to nominate themselves) then. If you have a play idea, make sure
you have access to a script or scenes from it for auditions since they
are only a little over a week away once we vote. Our show dates are
Dec 2 and 3rd. :) Hooray!!
Also, we do not currently have a treasurer for the group. Josie is not
a current student for this semester so she can't be in a IUP club.
With that said, send me your treasurer nominations by Tues at midnight
as well and we will vote on Wed at the meeting.
