MiniDebconf - Why wasn’t it public?

Hello folks,

I read this month’s Debian Newsletter and
found out that there was a MiniDebonf in Taiwan.

Why was this not posted on this list, the tossug website,
or the Taipei Hacker space list or the Debian news???

I’m _very_ disappointed I could not join, just because it was not
announced.

So my questions,
where will such events be announced in the future?
