Hotmail is actually hot again: On many fronts, "the new Hotmail beats Gmail hands down," says Preston Gralla in Business Week. It has better "social network integration," allows users "to view embedded media content" right in their inbox, and is "easily the most elegant-looking of any Web-based mail service." Gmail's still "excellent," but "if you've never used Hotmail before, or swore off it in the past, now is the time to take a new look."

AOL back to topTo make sure email gets delivered to your AOL inbox, you must add the email address or corporate domain of the sender to your Address Book or Custom Sender List.
Because of the various email platforms that can work with Outlook, it is tricky to tell you how to recieve all email to your Outlook inbox. We can tell you, however, how to make sure you can see all the emails you receive as they were intended to be seen - with images. If a company is not in your address book or "Safe Sender" list, your HTML images will not display.
While still a Microsoft employee, Kibkalo emailed the sensitive files to the blogger's Microsoft-provided Hotmail account. The company's anti-leak team, in search of evidence, secretly went through the blogger's private inbox after receiving a tipoff, found the leaked data, and alerted the FBI. Microsoft has since rewritten its Hotmail T&Cs following outcry by privacy activists.
I would like to have a record of all email services, other than Gmail, that have the following feature: a chain of replies to a single original email are placed together into a "thread" so that all subsequent replies are grouped into just one entry in the inbox. It's a format that mimics online forums, where you click a thread title to see the original post and all the replies. Which email services have this capability?
I'm using Outlook 2010 and am using the hotmail connector, which I believe is a mapi connection like what Exchange server would use, to connect to my live.com email address. Synchronizing folders seems to work similar to an exchange type account, but unlike my exchange emails, it seems like it does NOT sync in real time. It only syncs when you do a manual or scheduled send/receive?
