Summer is slowly passing us by and we will soon be back to school and getting into our Fall routine! We still have a number of students who have not yet paid August tuition. Please be sure to pay your tuition on time -if you have not yet paid August, please do so as soon as possible.

I am writing to inform you that tuition will increase as of September 1, 2013. This change applies to Kids, Juniors and Adults. We have been fortunate to be able to keep the current fee the same since 2011, and I am sure you all know that the training fees at Toshindo are extremely reasonable for unlimited classes. These changes come as a result of a number of circumstances beyond our control, and we sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause.
As of September 1, 2013, the following changes in class tuition are in effect. This change is per student.
Kids - Monthly Tuition will increase from $125 per month to $135 per
month.
Juniors (+13 years and up) and Adults -
1x week = $135/month ($255 to start)
2x week = $150/month ($270 to start)
3x week = $160/month ($280 to start)
As always, we deeply appreciate your support and the opportunity to teach and share the valuable benefits of the martial arts to your children.

Toshindo Schedule
Children's classes are Monday Thru Thursday 4:15pm-5:30 pm, 5:30pm-6:45pm. All are welcomed to appropriate classes during the week except Thursdays 5:30pm class which is only for Advanced students! Absolutely no beginner belts in this class. Saturdays 10:15am-11:30am and 11:30am-12:45pm. Tuesdays 5:30pm Class will be Children's Kata/Weapons class, With some tamishiware if there is interest.
Adult classes are held on, Mondays and Wednesdays 8:15pm and Saturday 12:45pm Open Class. All are welcomed to this class but keep in mind that it is a longer and strenuous class.

Tuition was due Monday August 5,. Please make every effort to make payments on time.
Tuition is due by the 5th of every month. The month encompasses the 1st day of the month to the last day of the month. Monthly tuition is not prorated. Whether your child attends 4 times a month or 16 times, the fee is the same and should be paid at the beginning of the month. Preferably the 1st class you attend of that month but no later than the 5th of that month.
If you start a month , no matter what day of the month you start, and take 1 class, you are liable for the entire months tuition. Since Toshindo has no way of determining individual plans, it is your responsibility to see that the student attends the classes for the month. Toshindo does not bill for individual classes. Taking classes in any portion of a calendar month requires that Months tuition to be paid on full. see above for special summer.
Toshindo does not require you sign extended contracts to participate but we do require that the fee schedule is adhered to. Toshindo believes that our prices are the most affordable around and would appreciate prompt payment so that we can continue to offer such great Training at an affordable price. Payments for promotions are due prior to taking your promotion tests.

Lateness
Shihan understands that lateness sometimes cannot be helped but please make every effort to try and report for class on time. Shihan understands that classes may run longer than scheduled, if you must leave please let an instructor know. Shihan understands that everyone has other responsibilities but we want to make sure that you get at least 1 hour of training in. Thank you all!

Team Toshindo
Sempai Aila Prieto Participated in the 2nd leg of the KRANE Triple Crown Tournament on July 28. Sempai Aila received 3rd place in Traditional Weapons, 2nd in Traditional Forms, and 1st in point sparring for 14-15 Black Belt.
Congratulations Sempai Aila, who although does not compete as often, keeps her skills sharp in and out of the dojo!
Birthday Parties At Toshindo
Toshindo does Parties. If you have a youngster or know someone who would like to have a Karate birthday, we do BD parties for a very reasonable rate. Please see Mrs. Bea for details and she will be able to schedule a fantastic Karate Birthday party for you. So spread the word.

in a Toshindo T during the summer months only! See Ms.
Bea in the office! We will also be ordering Toshindo Sweatshirts for the Fall.

school.
