TW2 Sprint on June 6th - 8th, 2013

Dear ToscaWidgets people,

in IRC, we just planned to do a sprint on ToscaWidgets 2 from June 6th
to June 8th.

Everyone is warmly welcome to participate whenever it's possible, by
hacking with us, or at least having good ideas or testing and reporting
bugs. ;)

Sadly, we can't offer you a yacht for your help, but you will definitely
get glory!

There is an issue on the tw2.core repository to keep track of the goals
for the sprint (https://github.com/toscawidgets/tw2.core/issues/86), but
you can also just answer to this email or drop a line in IRC.

Hi,

This sounds fab! I won't be able to join you , but it is worth looking at my github repositories (https://github.com/paj28/) as these have some good developments. I've just been holding off pushing to mainline as there's work to do to polish them off, deal with backwards compatibility, etc.

tw2.core - Directory widget, refactored controller widgets, authorization hooks, navigation bar, keys that contain dots to do multilevel lookups

tw2.auth - new widget library for authentication

tw2.sqla - DbListPage supports pagination and searching

Some ideas I had:

Let you specify a "branding" widget on middleware, which is merged into all pages

Better way of displaying status messages, a bit like TGFlash

ImageWidget

title is optional on Page

DateLabel, CurrencyLabel (with localisation config on middleware)

tw2.auth - forgotten password, password strength checks, brute force lockouts, session timeout, "continue to url"
