Yesterday has arrived a mail from Yves Saint-Laurent, the remasterer, among the new cds there is a Toscanini with New York Phil, with some recordings from 1929 up to 1936. After the first impact, I would say that the sound is very good. And the price is good too (about 10€ if you download the wav files).
The selections include the Mendelssohn's Scherzo from Midsummer night dream, Haydn's Symphony 101, Brahms' Haydn Variations, Wagner's Lohengrin prelude to Act 1.
Ciao
