I hope that our friends in Japan are fine, safe, and healthy, together with their families, in particular Mastak and Ken (who I personally met, and eventually has disappeared from this mailing list). Please give a sign.

Thank you very much for your concern and sympathy.

 

My family is all right and I believe Mastak, too, as he lives in Hokkaido far from the seismic center.

 

I did not disappear and am thinking of writing about G-F in  Töne!, as Toscanini, Hans Schmidt-Isserstedt and Riccardo Muti play.

 

I wish all the members and families of this mailing list a happy new year.
