Relation to Pagoda CMS

Hi Ian and all,

Just had a look at Pagoda CMS this morning and finally ended-up to
this list. Beside Ian is involved in both projects, are there any
similarities, like code base, concepts or at least way of doing
thing ? I was very interested in Pagoda, both from a user and
developer point-of-view, until I understood development was
discontinued. Is Tortuga like a re-implementation of Pagoda, or
something completely different ?

Actually its rather basic. Tortuga is Pagoda. The name "Pagoda" was found to be owned by someone else (or something to that extent) so Pagoda was changed to Tortuga. :)

Theres been talk from ian for the next couple steps, but nothing long term, or conrete. Roughly, assuming its still correct, the next step is to get the rendering system done (for rendering pages and using a template engine), and then to setup the event system for plugins, etc.
