Hi everyone,

I've been unable to find a solution for this problem for a while now. When I right click anywhere, I don't get anything from tortoise SVN in my right click menu. It doesn't matter if I click on an empty folder, or a folder or file in a project that I manage to check out by opening the repo browser directly. I also don't have Tortoise SVN symbols in my Explorer. I've googled the problem and checked the following solutions without success:

- Check correct version (I have Win 10 Pro 64bit, installed 64 bit)
- Uninstall, restart, reinstall, restart
- Repair install, restart
- checked permission on HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/*/shellex/ContextMenuHandlers/TortoiseSVN, everything seems in order.
- deleted said registry key, repair install, restart, checked key again (looks ok), still nothing
- dowloaded ShellExView, found TortoiseSVN extensions, made sure they're enabled. This is what I found (looks ok to me):

I am completely out of ideas what I could still try to get it to work and would be very happy about some help.

Best,
Hagen

Hi again,

Of course, just after I wrote this post I managed to get it working after all. Here's what I did:

- uninstall
- restart
- open regedit, search for "tortoise"
- delete any registry entry that comes up
- search and delete until there are no more results
- install tortoise svn

now the context menu is back, though there are still no icons showing the working copy status of my files.
