Hi,

We have SVN server setup on Linux. While doing svn checkout from tortoise SVN for large number of files on windows machine we are getting intermittent errors with message "Error: sqlite[S10]: disk I/O error " While doing smaller checkouts we are not getting error.
Attaching Screen shot for reference.

I did some research online and found out that many people reported similar issue when using cygwin SVN.
Issues seems to be that .db file is getting accessed by multiple threads eventually resulting in error.

Please let me know if anyone else faced similar issue or is this bug.

The fact that the same problem occurs with the command line client
indicates that the problem lies within the subversion library and not
in TortoiseSVN itself. You should report this on the subversion users
mailing list.

I did find this report which sounds similar:
http://superuser.com/questions/793131/svn-1-8-9-with-vmware-shared-folders

Are you checking out to a shared folder?

Hi Digant,

last time I saw sqlite errors like this, it was the virus scanner.
The SVN core does very fast sqlite updates, every now and then
the virus scanner didn't release files fast enough which triggered
sqlite IO Errors.
