Crash on Commit dialog

Hello.

When I select the "SVN commit" item on any repository on my computer, a dialog box appears and an error message immediately appears.

I first encountered this a few months ago. But I rarely make commits from this computer, so for a long time I postponed the solution to the problem.

I tried doing a cleanup.

I tried to reinstall last and several old versions of TortoiseSVN from last year.

I tried deleting the repository directory and doing a new checkout.

It all did not help.

There is no such problem on another computer.

So far I have to use another client for commits.

But I would like to fix TortoiseSVN because I like it.

Can you tell us what the error box says? It is too tiny and pixelated to read.

The image is fine for me, provided I "view" it to see it full size.

The problem is that is seems to be in Russion. Given the Cyrillic alphabet, I can barely read it (based on my ignorance) let along understand it.

The dialog seems to start with the following:

Прекращена работа программы "TortoiseSVN client"

An online translator gives this as "The program "TortoiseSVN client stopped working" in English.

Based on that, I'm not sure how helpful the dialog will be.

Hi,

there is somewhere a checkbox 'Commit on initial ...'. Uncheck that box and commit later n a second step.

Yes, this is the standard windows dialog that reports a sudden program termination and an attempt to find a solution.

Thanks for the advice.

I will try to find this option in the settings.

But if it is located directly in the Commit dialog box, then this is a problem. Because after an error message and clicking OK, the window immediately closes and I can not change any options.

Is it possible to try to find this option in the registry?

that is standart windows dialog box with pure infomation, it says:

the program is terminbated, windows searches for a solution to the problem (by russian)
