Hi,

I'm merging revisions from an external trunk into my Working Copy that points to a completely new trunk.
After resolving conflicts and commiting them, I now need to know which external revision I already have merged. Just in case I missed something.

In Tortoise under commit - Recent Messages is basically the information I need available, e. g.

Merged revision(s) 123 from/externalTrunk

So how can I access this information in Tortoise or via command line, or cache?

I tried several things with svn mergeinfo:

svn mergeinfo http://externalTrunk

But here comes the following complain:

externalTrunk must be ancestrally related to newTrunk

Open the merge dialog, select the external trunk as the merge source, show the log.
The log dialog when started from the merge dialog will mark all already-merged-revisions in gray.

Thx Stefan,

I just checked your instructions, but revisions I already merged, are not grayed out.
Is there eventually a setting that makes that possible?
Btw, I'm running on version TortoiseSVN 1.10.1, Build 28295 - 64 Bit.

I noticed that this dialogue sometimes dims these records, and sometimes does not. Call the dialogue several times and you will see the difference, maybe for the fifth or tenth time.
This behavior appeared on 1.10, I have now updated to 1.11 and it also remains.
Very sad, reduces confidence.
