When we commit a large set of modifications or reintegrate a branch, the long list of modified files in different directories is difficult to read in the "commit" dialog box.
It would be helpful to enhance the "commit" dialog box with an option to display the list of files in a "tree view" fashion with collapsable/expandable directories.
The same enhancement could be extended to all the similar dialog boxes (e.g. "merge test", "update", ...).
What do you think about this enhancement ?

How would that be different from the view in Explorer?

For most commits I do, this wouldn't be very helpful, but on occasion, I
think it might be nice to have this facility as something you could
toggle on/off--maybe a checkbox within the dialog itself, or a context
menu toggle within the file listing or in its header. Some users might
be clued in more obviously to the structure of their changes if they had
such a display.
A case that comes to mind recently was where one user inadvertently
committed changes to both the trunk and a branch in one commit, when she
only meant to commit the branch (she didn't know she had trunk files to
commit at all). People often ignore long paths presented in textual
form. Had the user seen things broken out graphically as separate
trees, maybe she would have aborted the operation.
