Hi

I have installed tortoiseSVN 1.14.5.29465-x64-svn-1.14.2 on a windows 11 machine. First when I first installed it some weeks ago the "cleanup" function was accessible via right click on svn folder --> TortoiseSVN --> Cleanup, but now it is gone. I have tried the repair installation option and tried uninstalled --> restart --> reinstall --> restart as described here: https://www.visualsvn.com/support/topic/00169/ . Both did not work.

Is there another way to use/access the clean up function than the right click menu?

I can understand that that windows 11 is not behaving nicely in terms of getting tortoiseSVN to work as it did in win10. Thanks for all the efforts by the developers! :-)

Best regards
Brian

Do you get the TortoiseSVN context menu at all when you right click? If not, can you try holding down the shift key when right clicking (that should bring up the old context menu)?

TortoiseSVN adopts the context menu so if you right click in a folder that is NOT a working copy, you will not get the Cleanup (Update, Commit etc.). Are you sure the folder you are in is also a working copy?

There is a known bug in 1.14.2 and earlier if you use tabs in Explorer, where the folder is taken from the first tab and not from the current tab. This has been fixed in the development version.

Kind regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel

Thank you for your reply :-)

Holding down Shift when right-clicking solved it and I can now see a lot of the functionality I used to in the context menu.

Best regards
Brian
