Hallo,

1. Open the window with "SVN Properties/Edit.../Advanced" on some property.
2. Write in the middle of an existing line. Or add a line of text and then write something in the middle of it.
3. The rest of the line towards the right is visually corrupted.
4. Resize the window.
5. The text is readable again. It contains the changes you typed and is correct.

So the issue is only visual.

I didn't have the issue in the past. Sorry, I don't know with which version it started. I had it with some previous version and with this version

TortoiseSVN 1.14.8, Build 29723 - 64 Bit , 2024/10/04 16:59:49
ipv6 enabled
Subversion 1.14.4, -release
apr 1.7.5
apr-util 1.6.3
serf 1.3.10
OpenSSL 3.2.3 3 Sep 2024
zlib 1.2.13
SQLite 3.46.1

Windows 10

Thank you for the nice tool.

Best regards,

Helmut

this looks like a problem with the display driver. Try updating the driver to the latest version.

Thank you for the reply. Updated to Nvidia 566.03 on Windows 10. Issue is still there.

I just discovered it only happens when Dark Mode is enabled in the Options.

When I turn Dark Mode off in TortoiseSVN options, the issue is gone. When I turn it on again, the issue is back.

Thanks for the report! Good catch to pinpoint it to the Dark Mode, that really helped to reproduce it. I'm looking at a solution but this is all Microsoft standard controls so I'm not sure how easy it is to fix it.

Kind regards,
Daniel

This has probably been fixed in r29738.

If you want to test it out, download a nightly build from https://nightlybuilds.tortoisesvn.net/latest/ tomorrow.

Kind regards,
Daniel
