How to debug TSVN client side issues like crashes?

Hi all,

I've recently encountered crashes in the repo browser like is already
documented:

One additional problem I had is that I didn't have any clue on how to
debug that issue. Enabling "Debug" in the settings only provided
message boxes with the executed command, IDs of window handles and
stuff, nothing of use in this case.

The crash reporter of DrDump OTOH exited pretty fast and especially
didn't provide any link to any website. This has been reported in the
above threads as well:

The only log file I found was "%LOCALAPPDATA%\TortoiseSVN\logfile.txt"
containing data about actions like committing, updating etc., but
nothing related to the crash I had. That only happened within the repo
browser and therefore most likely is no such logged action.

So, what do I need to do next time to e.g. additionally store the
crash dumps locally or enable some kind of log file or such?
