Hi!

I use TortoiseSVN 1.6.5, Build 16974 - 32 Bit , 2009/08/20 08:13:46
on Windows XP SP3. (FS is NTFS)

Recently I get this error when trying to commit:
No such revision 661

If I try to update that folder, I get:
No such revision 660

Any clue?

Regards,
David

Sounds like your working copy refers to a version that doesn't exist in the
repository. This can have several reasons:
1. Someone screwed with your WC, i.e. changed parts of the metadata so it now
thinks it came from a version that doesn't exist. This could be caused by
broken tools and/or human error. Best chance is to check out anew and
transfer any changes manually.
2. Someone screwed with the repository, i.e. dumped and reloaded it, omitting
a few revisions or similar things. Get a wet towel, find out who did that and
teach them that there are ways to remove revisions from a repository without
renumbering all those that follow. Further, leave your email address so next
time they can notify you of such changes before doing them so that you can
preserve your work.
3. Your repository broke on its own, i.e. the files required to retrieve the
referenced version were damaged or deleted and now it can't find them.
Recover the repository from a backup.

Hi,

I had the same problem and just solved.

On repository folder has... "db/revs/0" with the revision files. For some reason, some files are with ".rev" extension. Just renamed then removing this extension and worked normally.

Best Regards,
Rodolfo
