How to get shell icons to update when Project Manager notices changes

Hello. Project Manager noticies me when there are changes to a repository. How do I get it to update the shell icons so I know what files/folders have changed so I know I need to do an update. Thank you!

That's not possible since the shell only knows the state of the WC, not the state of the remote repo.

Is there anyway to create a Windows task that refreshes the status every hour? I know how to create the task, but not what command to tell TortoiseSVN to refresh...
