Hi there,

In the Show Log I can only get the 1/1/1970 dates. If I try to change the range, I have everything else grayed out (beyond 1/1/1970 I can't even see the dates).
Attached a screenshot.

I also can't update or checkout from the repository since it produces an error that there is no such revision 35 (or 32 in some cases) - I think both issues related.

Any ideas?

Thank you!
Shai

Hi Shai,
> [...]
If I'm not mistaken this is due to you having opened the log dialog for
a revision where the specified path ([...]/AlphaV2/trunk) does not exist
yet (therefore the error message: No such revision 35).
Try opening the log dialog with a revision (or with a path) which exists
and you'd be able to select the from/to dates...

the date range at the top of the dialog is just a filter for log
messages that are already shown.
If you want to *fetch* a date range, click the arrow on the "Show all"
button and select a date range from there.

Thanks for the reply.

However, this is the correct path (copy-pasted it from the file explorer which shows all files in the repository, also, it's exactly the same configuration as in another computer which works perfectly).
Also, when I try to Show All or select the range, it shows nothing except the error and the 1/1/1970 data.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling Tortoise as well, which didn't help.

Thanks again.

Hi again,

Any idea for the cause of the problem?
In essence, one computer's Toitoise client can't "see" the correct repository although it has full access to the repository's directories.
The above mentioned issues are another symptom of the problem.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,
Shai

Hi Shai,

please be more specific of what you are doing, what you are expecting and what you are getting instead.

Your screenshot in the first mail shows the file-URL in the header. Hence I conclude you did not open that dialog by right-clicking on a file and selecting TSVN -> Show log but rather either used the repository browser or opened that log dialog via some other TSVN dialog.
Also please specify the TSVN version and (if known) SVN server version.

Best describe what you are doing step by step as in:
1. Right click file xxxx -> TSVN -> Show Log
2. Go to revision 2
3. In the file window right click the file xxxx -> Show Log
[...]
(best with screenshots of the dialogs in each step).

From the last mail, it might actually be some permission issue... but let's best do one step after another...

Regards,
Stefan

I think you are directly adding a project folder in Project Monitor. You need to create a repository first. Please browse the below link and follow the steps.
