Cannot apply Patch file. v1.9.7.27907

After creating a patch file, the same cannot be applied to the another checked out folder for the same repo.

Hi Amit,

Please be a bit more specific:

- What's the error you are getting?

- Can you provide a sample patch file of the patch which was generated using TSVN but won't apply?

I'm having the same problem (same version). I get an empty error message box (Title is 'Tortoise Merge', no caption, error icon).

I have tried two approaches, rt-clicking the patch file to apply and rt-clicking the target wc and choosing 'apply patch'.

I used to apply patches all the time, not sure what changed or if I have applied them using 1.9.7 before.

I can apply the patch if I apply it to the correct subdir within my working copy. I was trying to apply it to the root of the wc. TortoiseSVN used to tell you when the directory didn't match and offer the matching directory for you. Now it seems to error out (with a blank error message to boot).
