SVN 1.8.15 on windows 2016

we have the svn 1.8.15 on Windows 2008 R2, if we upgrade the server to windows 2016 is the svn 1.8 still compatible to new version of windows ?

This is a group for the TortoiseSVN Windows client, rather than the Subversion server. You'll likely get best advice from the Apache Subversion project. I note that they have an FAQ for "What operating systems does Subversion run on?".

Alternatively, if you run one of the repackaged solutions (e.g. Collabnet Subversion Edge), you will likely need to check with the specific vendor you use.

At my organisation, we are using SubversionEdge on Windows Server 2019.

it should be, but 1.8 is rather outdated.

1.14.1 is the current version
Or at least consider the 1.10.7 LTS
