Hello,
Other SVN clients have a feature, which allows to freeze externals, which aren’t binded to a specific revision, to the current revision, when a tag / branch is done. So in trunk I have always the most recent external but on a tag I work only on a fixed external version. I didn’t find this feature in Tortoise.
Is this feature there and I were blind?
Is this feature under development / or on a whish list?
If yes, when will it come into a version?
Is there anything, which opposes this feature and tortoise doent want to have it?

regards,
Patrick Fritzsch

I know only of *one* other, and that one is way too expensive.

Will be available in 1.7.
Or you can try a nightly build from trunk.

Thank you for your answer. This is nice to read.
I didn’t find a roadmap or release date for 1.7.
Does a rough estimation of a 1.7 release date exist?

Google finds this: <http://subversion.apache.org/roadmap.html>

TortoiseSVN releases parallel Subversion releases. No date is even
being discussed for 1.7's release that I've seen yet.
