So, I'm not the most tech savvy person out here, but I've used Tortoise SVN for many years, with companies I used to work for.

However, now that I'm trying to setup a repo browser for my own company, using Source Forge, I'm facing many issues that perhaps someone here can help me with?

Big issue: Once I've installed the TortoiseSVN 1.14.3 - 64-bit software into my computer (running windows 11 21H2) not always the SVN menue will appear if I right-click on any folder. If it does, it no longer shows the "Create repository here" button and I cannot create the repository I need to use for my repo browser.

And if I open my Source Forge's project SVN url on the TortoiseSVN Repo Browser and I try to create any folder or add any file, it will show this message:

"Subversion reported an error:
Can't open file '/svn/p/project-name/db/txn current lock ': Permission denied"

Can anyone please help?

the win11 context menu is not really 'stable' and still has quite a few issues.
Entries not showing up is one of them. I really hope this gets fixed soon.

As for "create repository here" not showing up: you can configure which entries show up in the settings dialog, there's a new page for the win11 context menu.

I guess you checked out your working copy as an anonymous user. For sourceforge, you have to use https to do the checkout, not http!
