I have a check in that had a number of file moves, new files and changes. When viewing the log in 11.1.0 it is missing but present in version 1.9.5 display of the same repository.
This has broken branch merges big time as the added files are later altered.

clear the log cache:
Settings dialog->saved data->log messages - click the "clear" button.

Hello Stefan.

Thanks. That has cleared the problem.
Is the cache something that needs clearing when updating or just periodically?
Should the cache be cleared after a program update?

Regards,
Chris.

The cache shouldn't every need cleaning up. But apparently it can't detect every situation where it goes wrong, so whenever you experience problems with showing the log, clearing the cache usually helps.
