Hi,
I'm facing a strange behavior of repobrowser on my company laptop with windows 10 (it doesn't happen on my home pc with windows 10). When drag and drop a file from repobrowser to explorer two copy of it are always created. It happens also if I drag and drop multiple files, all selected file are duplicated.

Do you know any solution ?

Thanks

Stefano

That's very weird. Never seen that happening on all machines I'm using TSVN on.

* what's the naming of the files? If there are two files then their names must be different
* what happens if you drag e.g. an email from your email app? Or maybe drag a link from a web browser?

I know that it's very strange, it happens only on our company pc. We have many Vm with tortoisesvn installed and on those vm it works well.

For instance if I drag and drop from report browser the files:
start.bat
stop.bat
check.bat

it creates the following files:
start.bat
start(1).bat
stop.bat
stop(2).bat
check.bat
check(3).bat

If I drag and drop links from chrome or email and attachment from outlook, they don't create copies of the files.

your examples all are *.bat files. Does it happen with plain *.txt files as well?
Just asking: bat files are considered harmful by virus scanners, and I wouldn't be surprised if one of those things would be the reason for your troubles.

Yes, sorry for the bad example, I tried also with .cpp, .txt, .h and .xml....same behavior

Went over the code again, but I can't find anything that would cause a dragged file to get downloaded twice.

Maybe you have some tool installed that's causing this which isn't present on your other machines?

I'm sorry but I'm out of ideas.
