SVN Revision mismatch when doing an svn update and svn log

Hi,

I have checked out my code from the SVN. When I do an SVN Update on the checked out code, it shows me the message "Completed: At revision 16482"
but,
When I chose show log on the same code, the latest revision I see there is 16481.
Why is this incompatibility appearing between both.
Please reply it is urgent.

What imcompatibility? Have you checked the log from the repository root?
There might have been a commit modifiying other code than what you have
checked out.

The revision shown after an update is the latest revision (=HEAD) in the entire repository.

The revision shown in the log is the latest revision in the selected path.

These revision numbers may well be different. You can check this for any subfolder of your working copy.
