Below are steps that we have taken to troubleshoot the SVN icon ( Green/Red ) indications from our end.
Step 1 – Uninstalling the software and App data locally and re-installing the Tortoise SVN software.
Step 2 – Complete user profile reconfiguration.
Step 3 – We have formatted the laptop and re-installed the OS and still user will get back within a monthstep 4 – As per your suggestion we are clearing the OneDrive cache from the Registry from this path ( Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ShellIconOverlayIdentifiers )( This will fix the issue temporarily ) But end users are reaching back for a permanent solution.Note – Every day the count is increasing please check for a permanent solution and do the needful at the earliest.
