Hi, since upgrading to Windows 10 Fall Creator's Update, I have not been able to use Tortoise's log history to compare versions of a Word document (either different revs within the log, or a log rev against my working copy). It seems to start by throwing a dialog that says something like it's working on it (it only flashes for a second) and then it dismisses it and nothing further happens. Is there a way to troubleshoot this, or is there a place in TortoiseSVN where I can look at the compare command it's going to do and adjust it?

To workaround, I have been saving the rev I want to compare on the hard drive and then manually comparing them via Word's menu options, but I'd really like to get TortoiseSVN working again. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

BTW, I have Tortoise 1.9.7 (build 27907) and Word 1710 which I believe are the latest releases of both apps.

The script which does the word diffs is located in C:\Program Files\TortoiseSVN\Diff-Scripts, named diff-doc.js.
If I had to guess: maybe a virus scanner is blocking that script.

Thanks for the reply! I finally got sick of not being able to do diffs and searched back through the posts for this one. Anyway, I don't know what happened but my diff-doc.js file got corrupted. It shows itself on the drive as being 6,340 bytes, but when I open it in various editors, or type it from the command line, it's empty. I mean nothing. Anyway, I went to my other computer and copied its version of the file onto my broken install, and now it's doing diffs again. Thanks for the help.
