Merge freezes

When I attempt to merge, as soon as I hit "Test Merge" the Merge dialog box goes unresponsive. I've tried reinstalling the latest version of TortoiseSVN, disabling my antivirus protection, powering the PC off & on, and creating new working copies. None of this helped. I can browse the repo and check out code without issue. My colleagues in the same office with the same firewall and public IP are not having the issue. Any ideas?
