We use SVN to read a not-owned repository.

We code on Windows in CRLF style, but the repository has LF commits (only).

I would like to have all check-out files with CRLF commit, but this behavior is normally available when the property 'eol-style=native' is set.
But as we don't have write access to the repo, we cannot apply it to the files...

Would this be possible with some addition to TortoiseSVN or is this a limitation for SVN as a version platform.

Thanks!

This is by design of the svn library: files that do not have the eol-style property set are treated as-is, even allowing both LF and CRLF eols in the same file.
So without the ability to set the property you're out of luck.

But maybe ask the ones with write access to the repository to set the property?

Thanks for the suggestion. But I already asked that, so I'm out of luck.
