I use the project monitor to watch a couple of repos, one of which is currently offline. As a result the project monitor spends a fair bit of time waiting for a repo that is just going to timeout eventually. Is it possible to add an enable/disable flag for entries in the tree?

I also noted that the monitor interval is limited to 1 - 1000 minutes. Can the upper limit be increased to perhaps 7 days (10080) or even higher?

for offline servers, the monitor should timeout immediately. If it does not, then the server still accepts TCP connections but does not respond, not even with an error response. I would consider that a misconfiguration on the server side.

Why would you want to increase that limit so high? If the server is responding, it shouldn't take more than 1-2 seconds to determine that there are no updates...

Hi Stefan,

1. The server in question has a dynamic IP. Sometimes the IP is changed and the dynamic DNS entry is not. This results in the IP that is returned by DNS is not correct. This results in the monitor querying the wrong IP with unknown configuration etc. It would be handy to be able to just stop the monitor from accessing this entry until such tie as the owner of the server can correct the issue. At present the only way to achieve this is to delete the entry.

2. I would like to configure the interval to 1 day (1440 minutes).  While a check for updates is very quick, I would prefer to roll up the updates on that server to a once a day notification.

Does that explain things a bit better?
