Basically, I need an answer for this question: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7244321/how-to-update-github-forked-repository

But, in terms of TortoiseGIT. I could never get the command line GIT to work on my windows box, and TortoiseGIT is what everyone at work uses for our local repositories. But, I'm now contributing to several open source projects, and I need to know how to do this for TortoiseGIT, so I can remain up-to-date.

Thanks.

Charles.

In setting dialog:
git-> remote,
then you can add a remote, which equal with git remote add xxxx

then you can use
tortoisegit->sync dialog,
choose fetch \ pull to get update depend on your working flow.

Okay. If I want to revert any changes I made to my master, so I can get back to an unmolested version of the fork, how would I do that? I submitted directly to my master fork instead of making a branch, and there is no revert dialog that I can find.

Thanks.

Charles.
