Advice on issue with Windows 8.1

Hello all,

I am trying to find out how to avoid or correct behavior of TortoiseGit with Win 8.1, 64bit.

I can't install or uninstall TortoiseGit and since TortoiseGit is already on my system I have in system popup menu but unfortunately after occurring a menu the following command is not executed. I already sow this issue reported but I am not sure I have found the resolution. Please can you point where can I find a fix for this?

Did you clean install Windows 8.1 or upgrade from Windows 8?
