If TortoiseGit can be used on a Linux Server via ssh like vscode?

Tostoise Git uses windows shell to control git. It sounds that it is easily to be used to Linux via SSH. Is there any shot for it?

what exactly do you want to achive?

do you want TortoiseGit PROCESS be run on the Linux OS ?

or so you want to run TortoiseGit on remove Windows box yet to be personally sitting at your local Linux box, and to be connected to remote Windows box via SSH or RDP or VNC ?

or do you want to seat at the local Windows box and to run TortoiseGit on that Windows box but make it process files in the remote Linux server's shared folder, which would be shared by the SSH (actualyl SFTP) protocol?

Frankly, what do you want is not clear.

P.S. i heard there is TortoiseSVN port to Linux, but i have no idea how far did ToritoiseSVN and TortoiseGit diverged GUI-wise

P.P.S. there is a Turtle Git on Linux, the native applicaiton trying to replicate TortoiseGIt user experience, i think i used to use it in MATE desktops 3 years ago
