I am using Tortoise GIT from Windows explorer, I have a git bash option when I right click on a git directory.
How do I change it to open the shell as windows Administrator?
(Windows 7 Professional 64 bit service pack 1, TortoiseGIT 1.8.16.0)

thanks
Lance

Sorry, this option is not provided by TortoiseGit and, thus, I cannot
help you.

1. Right-click C:\Program Files\Git\git-bash.exe (Git for Windows 2.8.0)
2. Click Properties
3. Click the Compatibility tab i
n the Properties dialog
4. Check the "Run This Program As An Administrator" check box
5. Click OK button

Note again: git bash is provided by Git for Windows, it's not part of TortoiseGit.
