I have all my remote repositories placed on a mapped network drive, but as of a couple of days ago i can't access it through tortoisegit. All i get is this:

No such file or directory
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.

Strange thing is, i can access it just fine using git bash. How do i solve this?

I'm sorry with the very limited information provided there is nothing we
can help you. Usually software doesn't suddenly stop working...

Which version are you using? Did you change anything recently? What
exactly does not work? What still works?

I do believe that it is something i have done, and i can connect it to a reboot i did recently. My network drives are not autmatically accessed, so the first time i access it through windows explorer, i add login credentials. Last time i forgot to do this, and tried to push to the remote repository, giving me this error.

However, this error didn't go away when i then accessed the network drive. I currently have version 2.3 of tortoisegit installed.

Thank you for helping me!

It sounds like the Git for Windows issue #945. (TortoiseGit does't work, but git bash.)

So, which version of Git for Windows do you use?
Does that path contain non-ascii char?
