The TortoiseGit Issue Tracker Plugin broke when Atlassian Jira upgraded to 7.0 as Jira dropped SOAP support.

I have converted the TortoiseGit Issue Tracker Plugin from using SOAP to REST.

For the latest downloadable .msi file and installation instructions, go here:

The original link no longer works:
just go here, https://github.com/gmoore777/JiraSVN/releases/, and look for the newest .msi download file.

I'm feeling super dense here but how do I actually start using the jira integration once installed?

I've installed the msi, gone into setting > issue tracker integration > add put my jira server url( https://development.example.com/ ) in the "Server Uri"/"Parameters" field. I don't really understand what working tree path means in this case so I tried both leaving it blank and setting it to a new folder in both cases once I clicked OK a window pops up that says Connecting... Then it looks like it worked with all the menus closing and a new item shows up in the issue tracker integration list.

So..... now what? How do I actually start using the plugin? Is there some hotkey or something I'm missing? Did I configure it wrong or is there just more config I need to do? Super confused here.
