NEW SITE & REGISTRATION opens Tuesday, March 25th!

The Transit Camp stewards have been busy making preparations for the
FIRST of SIX Transit Camp events across the Greater Toronto and
Hamilton Area: Saturday, April 5th at the MaRS Centre in Toronto.

A new online community site for this project will be launched at
http://metronauts.ca/ (sorry, not yet live) on Tuesday, March 25th
with registration for the first Transit Camp. METRONAUTS will be an
invitation for a much larger community of folks to imagine the
possibilities of future transportation in the region with us.

In 2008, the Transit Camp community is going to new places. Not just
going to new cities across the region, but also taking on the big
challenges and opportunities of transportation no matter how you get
around: walk, bike, ride or drive. And we're doing this with the
close participation and sponsorship of Metrolinx, so there are many
opportunities to influence policy and investment priorities for the
future.
