It's all outlined on the group at www.facebook.com, just either go to
my site, Janice Ashby (with a beagle picture) and I'll invite you to
the group, if for some reason you can't join by searching TTC
Environmental Citizen's Group.
You will definately be able to view the group, even if your not a
member of facebook, but we should be having a meet sometime in late
November either at the OISU at the St. George Subway Station, or City
Hall.
One of the things I primarily talk about is how the TTC can gain a lot
of good publicity by having an Architectural Contest in 2008 to renew,
revitalize and rebuild old TTC stations a few at a time, with no cost
to the people, the TTC, or the government.
The other aspect I discuss or outline at the group, is how simple it
can be (and it can be simple) to tell our government how to run things
for the people, this is the way they do it in France, so we should be
able to do the same thing, and one good solution would be to have Adam
Giambrone purchase whatever he needs to enhance the system for the
TTC, and ship all the bills to the Prime Minister of Canada, Steven
Harper. And if they complain, Toronto and/or the TTC will sue them
for negligence (sp?) to millions of people in Toronto and lying all
the time, and we all know very well, that Steven Harper doesn't care
about the environment.
Check out the group at facebook.ca, it's open to the public / search
TTC Environmental Citizen's Group!
Janice.!
