Hi all,

This survey is being distributed to all the groups that meet at the 519 Community Centre.  They provide us with space without charge, allowing us to keep membership fees low (currently $0/year).  You may want to participate.

Cheers,
Duncan

Church and Wellesley under review

Community planning study underway

This spring, with World Pride just months away, a team of urban planners, community enthusiasts and activists, neighbours and businesses will be taking a closer look at Toronto’s Church and Wellesley Village. The 519 has hired a team of consultants to answer two key questions:

“What is the role of a ‘LGBTQ village’ in a modern, progressive city?” and

“What must be done to support the Church-Wellesley Village to solidify its role as a major cultural and community hub in the Toronto context now and into the future?”

Provide your input

Complete this online survey, it takes less than 10 minutes!

The 519 and The Planning Partnership have commissioned this survey to gather views and assessments of the Church Wellesley Village. Your survey answers are part of a study that will help to guide the development of a neighbourhood plan for the Church Wellesley Village to keep it relevant, healthy and vibrant.

The Planning Partnership, a Toronto based urban design, planning and landscape architecture firm is seeking the input of a variety of people including neighborhood residents, visitors to the Church Wellesley area, business operators, property owners, those who work in the neighbourhood and members of the general public. Your views and opinions are very important to the planning process.

We hope that you will take the time
to participate, complete and submit the survey.

Please be assured that your answers will be strictly confidential. All completed surveys are submitted directly to a research firm. Your individual responses will not be available to anyone at The Planning Partnership. A report of the findings will be prepared, but will only include analysis of the aggregate responses, not individual responses.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey.
