We need your help to make sure the information is up to date, complete and accurate! Please take a look at the new map and see if your project is listed accurately. If you know of other gardens or farms that are missing or are listed but no longer active, please let us know that too. It's particularly difficult to source info on school gardens and TCHC sites, so please help us find them!
If you see incorrect or missing information, please email torontour...@gmail.com.
Please, please, please don't hit reply all!
We need everyone to contribute information! With your help we can create an accurate picture of just how important UA is to Toronto. All of us will be able to use these statistics for:
- advocacy
- funding proposals
- business plans
- increasing the profile of urban agriculture in general
Aside from our own advocacy and storytelling, this updated data will support a new 5-year research project with the University of Toronto Scarborough called TOSustain. TUG is one partner in a large collaborative project looking at urban agriculture and sustainability indicators, including greenhouse gas (GHGs). We've been waiting a long time to get local data, so this is super exciting!
All the best,
Rhonda
