Hello TUGgers,

We need your help to get the word out about urban agriculture in Toronto - and maybe do a little celebrating too!

You can help us to get our message out before UA Week through social media, legacy media and politician's offices.

During UA Week September 20-28 we're looking for people to go out to events, take photos and videos and keep that flow of social media content going.

Do you have a particular interest in:
  • Rooftop gardens
  • Community farms
  • Sustainable, local food
  • Climate change
  • Food justice
We're looking for people to help tell these stories in particular!

See the attached file with a list of potential volunteer jobs. Feel free to suggest other ways you can help out!

Please reply to this email with:
  1. What tasks you might like to do. Do you have any particular skills you'd like to put to good use?
  2. Your availability for a volunteer orientation (evenings, daytime, days of the week)
Note: we are a grassroots network without full-time staff or a volunteer coordinator, so our volunteer process is quite simple and streamlined.

All the best,
Rhonda
