Hi everyone,

Yesterday 2 young chickens were dropped off at Black Creek Community Farm, with no note or explanation! They just appeared in a box on our doorstep.

Would anyone be able to take them in, or have a lead on someone who can?

We are not able to take care of them right now - our site is closing down for the holidays and we don't have capacity to introduce new birds to our backyard flock arrangement.

Thanks,

Reach out to the folks at Rent the Chicken, they may be willing to help.

Hi Toronto Urban Growers!

Just wanted to express my THANKS to this group for coming together and finding a home for the chicks! A TUG member came through and organized for the chicks to be transported to a farm in Owen Sound. (Thank you, Sophie and Denis!!)
