This week there are rare opportunities to see some innovative urban farms in action! 

• Tomorrow morning - Sean Smith is giving a Miniature Farm Tour of his Microfarm and Compostery in East York
• Black Creek Community Farm is offering a series of vital, virtual workshops: Fall Foraging, Tomato Canning and Seed Saving
• Wednesday: Visit Jewel Gomes' Garden of Wonders and see what this agronomist, bartender and waste reduction advocate is experimenting with this year! Or check out the fabulous farmers at the Malvern Urban Farm Market. 
• Thursday: Tours of the Common Table farm run by the Flemingdon Park Ministry, U of T's Campus Agriculture, Access Alliance rooftop garden and Greenest City's gardens in Parkdale. 

Then you can catch your breath and get ready for the weekend's events!😅

TUG would like to acknowledge that the land on which we work is the historical territory of the Wendat, Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, Seneca and, most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River nations.  The territory is covered by the Dish With One Spoon Covenant, an agreement between the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and allied nations to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. All of us who live and work in Tkaronto (Toronto) are treaty people, so we invite everyone to think about our responsibilities to this land and water, and to the peoples who have cared for this place for thousands of years.
