| Hello ,
Some exciting news — Fair Finance Fund is currently recruiting new volunteer members for our Loan Review Committee, and we’re inviting individuals from across Canada’s food, agriculture, finance, and community development sectors to get involved.
This committee plays an important role in helping us review and evaluate loan applications from food and farm enterprises working to strengthen local food systems, local economies, and environmental resilience across Ontario and beyond.
We are looking for people with experience or interest in areas such as:
Food and agriculture
Finance, lending, or accounting
Entrepreneurship and small business
Economic or community development
Social enterprise or impact investing
Committee members contribute approximately 2–5 hours per month for a 2-year term, with an option to renew for an additional term.
At Fair Finance Fund, we recognize that resilient and equitable food systems require diverse perspectives and lived experiences. We especially welcome applicants from equity-deserving communities, including Indigenous and racialized individuals, women, and people from underserved regions and sectors.
This is an opportunity to:
Support local food and farm enterprises
Contribute to climate resilience and community economic development
Build skills and experience in social finance and impact lending
Join a passionate network of food systems and community leaders

| We would also greatly appreciate you sharing this opportunity within your networks.
Thank you for helping us build a stronger, more resilient local food system.
Warmly, The Fair Finance Fund Team |
